Goodwill was founded by Gonçalo António, a Certified Accountant registered with the Portuguese Order of Certified Accountants (OCC) and tax advisor, based in Lisbon.
Most accounting firms were built for a world where the client dropped off a bag of paper once a month. That world is over for anyone invoicing through platforms, getting paid in several currencies, and working with clients they will never meet in person. We built Goodwill for that second world.
You always speak to the same person — whoever picks up knows your file. A response within 24 business hours, almost always the same day, and it's written into the contract. You get the framework and analysis of your options from the same person who later signs the tax return. We work online: send documents from wherever you are, video calls, digital signatures.
We don't accept paper documentation or open-ended deadlines. The quality of what we file depends on getting what we need on time — and we'd rather say so before we start than at the end.
